BIKE IT! Festival
For two days, a diverse range of stakeholders from cycling, urban planning and transport concepts, art and culture will meet among the venerable buildings of the still-unrenovated part of the overseas island. Manufacturers and retailers will present bicycles and cargo bikes, equipment and clothing, including testing opportunities. Lectures and panel discussions will explore topics related to the city, the future, sustainability, and cycling culture.
Hop on your bike: test tracks with technical highlights, rides on gravel roads, or through the city’s most beautiful corners start here. Before and after, you can refuel at food stands and coffee bars. Kids will also get their money’s worth, and for professionals and those who want to become professionals, there’s information about the commercial use of cargo bikes and training and career opportunities in the bicycle industry, as well as in urban and transport development.
And last but not least: with music and an outdoor pub, you can put your bike down on a Saturday evening.
