Join InclusiveSpaces at the POLIS Conference 2025: Designing streets for all

Summary

The upcoming POLIS Conference 2025 in Utrecht will once again bring together Europe’s leading voices in sustainable urban mobility, and InclusiveSpaces will be part of the conversation.

On 26 October (16:45–18:15), Katie Bulanowski (European Passenger's Federation) will represent InclusiveSpaces during Parallel Session 3A – “Paved with Purpose: Streets for All.”

Katie will present “InclusiveSpaces: Reimagining public spaces through inclusive design, participatory practices, and assistive technologies,” highlighting how inclusive design and co-creation can make cities more accessible, welcoming, and equitable for everyone.

The session will bring together thought leaders exploring how to design and evaluate truly inclusive streets and public spaces. Together, these contributions will explore how inclusive design, participatory approaches, and data-driven innovation can transform urban mobility and public spaces for the benefit of all citizens.

As part of the Built4People Partnership, InclusiveSpaces continues to promote people-centred design and collaboration between research, industry, and local communities to reimagine how Europe’s streets can serve everyone.

Join us in Utrecht to explore how inclusive design can pave the way for more equitable and accessible urban environments.
